Salmon School - On the water
These "hands on" outings will supercharge your learning curve!
We want to be clear, the goal of these outings are NOT to fill the cooler! We want to make you more successful on the water, so when you jump back in your boat you're filling the cooler!
On these charters we will cover whatever topics you feel you want to learn. Some examples of the topics we can go over are:
- Rod/Reel/Terminal Tackle set-ups
- Knots and How To Tie Rigs
- How To Set-Up a Boat
- Deploying Presentations (Downriggers, Divers, Lead Core, Copper, In-Lines)
- When To Use a Presentation
- How To Choose the Right Lures
- How To Use Electronics To Increase Your Success
On these coaching trips we will be fishing from our 2025 Smokercraft Phantom 20x2, which we feel is more practical to the average fisherman. Our busy schedule only allows us to run these trips Monday through Thursday's in the afternoon. We are limiting these outings for 1-2 people with a two hour minimum. We can fish from Sodus Bay, Bear Creek, or the Genesee River.
