The
"Yankee troller"
The Yankee Troller is our Salmon and Trout Charter boat. You will be fishing from a very reliable
1990 25' Bayliner 2556 Ciera. This is a very big boat for a 25' boat. She has plenty of power to get us out to the fish,
and then back to the dock safely. We keep her in tip top shape with the help from our friends over at Krenzer Marine in Sodus, NY.Only the best gear goes on this boat! Scotty downriggers and Daiwa rods and reels along with lures from many
top manufacturers. There are two GPS plotters and two fish finders to help us find and stay on top of the fish, and a Depth
Raider speed and temp unit to get the lure speed right into the fish's comfort zone. There is also an enclosed head and
a large cockpit with a dinette that will get you out of the elements. The Yankee Troller is not the largest charter boat
on lake Ontario, but a versatile one to put you on the best school of fish! This is the largest trailer-able boat we could
find! Therefore, wherever the Salmon are is where we will fish out of.
So you ask yourself......if the boat name
is Yankee Troller there has to be a New York Yankee's fan aboard? Well, your right! My father is a HUGE Yankee's fan and so
is my brother. As for me.....I'm not into baseball all that much. Too long, and too slow of a game for me. My father named
his first boat "The Yankee troller," so the name continued onto the current boat that we are running. My twist came
when the business name was thought of. EVERYONE on the lake and message boards knew me as Yankee Troller. So, I had to keep
the Yankee theme going. Hence, "Crazy Yankee Sportfishing!"
